Trimless Door - Door Panel Style 11
Door Panel Wood Species
- Rustic Grade: Mineral, sap, and knots are common. Color variations may range from a light to dark blend of sapwood and heartwood.
- Standard Grade: A small percentage of knots, mineral and gum pockets will be allowed on the face and in the profiled areas with voids allowed in gum pockets. Color variations results in a mixture of mostly heartwood with some sapwood allowed.
- Premium Grade: A smaller percentage of knots, mineral and gum pockets will be allowed on the face and in the profiled areas with voids allowed in the gum pockets. Color variations will be uniform throughout and will be grain matched, resulting in a more consistent grain pattern.
All of the above wood species and grades include an optional clear coat (no stain) finish. We can also provide the door panel unfinished, if you prefer to stain the door panel yourself.
Also Available In Paint Grade Wood
Prefer to paint your door panel instead? We can also provide the door panel in a paint grade wood, such as MDF. So what exactly is MDF? It's actually a type of engineered wood, which offers a flat surface that is free of knots and heavy grain patterns. In other words, a perfect surface for painting. And a more economical choice versus painting over a stain grade wood.
The door panel is 3/4" thick, and features 2 1/4" wide stile and rails, along with the design profile as shown.
